More Than a Classroom - A Place for Growth. Make Your Mark in Blackpool.
Are you a resilient, proactive, and empathetic individual who can bridge the gap between academic support and pastoral care? We are seeking a versatile Cover Supervisor / Pastoral Support Lead to join our dedicated team in Blackpool.
This is a full-time (5 days a week) role within a specialist school catering to children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

Classroom Support: When not covering lessons, you will work alongside class teams to support individual pupils with their EHCP targets. What We're Looking For
Experience: Previous experience working with SEMH, ASC, or "at-risk" youth (this could be in a school, youth work, or residential setting).
Confidence: The ability to manage a classroom and command respect through building genuine relationships rather than just "authority."

Collaborative Culture: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of therapists, SENCOs, and experienced support staff.
Career Progression: An excellent stepping stone for those considering a future career in teaching, social work, or educational psychology.
