Venue Services Manager Housekeeping Lead Nottingham | Full-Time, Flexible Shifts | Up to £35,000 Benefits We are working exclusively with a leading UK live entertainment venue to recruit an experienced Venue Services Manager with a specialist focus on housekeeping operations. This is a hands-on leadership role at the heart of one of the East Midlands busiest and most exciting event destinations, ensuring the building is presented to the highest standards before, during, and after a diverse range of live events. As Venue Services Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, drive continuous improvement, and make a real impact on the experience of every guest who walks through the doors. The Role As Venue Services Manager, you will: Lead and manage the housekeeping team to maintain exceptional venue presentation. Oversee event-based operations, ensuring spaces are returned to pre-event condition or prepared for the next event. Line manage Team Leaders, including recruitment, rotas, training, appraisals, and HR procedures. Develop and implement housekeeping audits, deep cleaning programmes, and capital replacement plans for equipment. Manage budgets, procurement, and stock control for cleaning products, PPE, and housekeeping tools. Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, risk assessments, and safe working procedures. Oversee the venues recycling and waste management programmes. Implement Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) for housekeeping assets. Act as Manager on Duty when required, working a mix of early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts. About You Were looking for a Venue Services Manager who: Has proven experience in facilities or housekeeping management, ideally in events, venues, or hospitality. Is a confident team leader who can motivate, develop, and inspire a diverse workforce. Has strong knowledge of health & safety legislation, risk assessments, and COSHH compliance. Is organised, proactive, and a strong problem-solver, able to balance day-to-day demands with long-term planning. Is physically fit and comfortable with hands-on operational tasks. Is flexible and reliable, with the ability to adapt to the venues dynamic event schedule.
