Job Description
* As the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
* Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
* Ensure timely reporting of financial data to internal and external stakeholders.
* Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations.
* Monitor and improve financial controls and processes.
* Collaborate with auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
* Analyse financial data to assist in decision-making and forecasting.
* Maintain compliance with tax regulations and oversee VAT submissions.
* Provide support to the wider Accounting & Finance team as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
* A recognised qualification or part-qualification in accounting (e.g. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
