We currently have 184 children on roll in 7 classes from Reception to Year 6, with 60% - 70% of those having a parent or carer in the services. The HLTA will play a key role in our academy and will provide effective support for individual pupils and groups across the school. This role will report to the SENCO, and represents an exciting opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the lives of our pupils. We are looking for an HLTA to work closely with the Attendance lead to provide tailored support for pupils who are at risk of losing valuable learning time due to their attendance. The role would also consist of cover across the school: some ad hoc to cover absenteeism while some planned to provide subject release time for staff. You will also support the school in developing and implementing whole school interventions.
