Our dedicated 24-hour Housing Support team in Largs, Ayrshire, is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Female Support Practitioner* to provide tailored, person-centred support to one lady living in her own tenancy. The support we provide goes far beyond daily assistance. Her interests include attending the local disco, meeting friends for lunches and days out, shopping trips, enjoying coffee at her favourite café, visiting the ferry, and planning exciting holidays-all with your encouragement and involvement.
Building trusting relationships is at the core of our work, laying the foundation for assisting with practical tasks like:
Personal care and support in her home, including housework, medication administration, meal preparation, and companionship
Collaboration with family and other professionals to ensure the highest quality of care
Promoting her independence and individuality according to her Support Plan

Our Largs Housing Support Service provides support 365 days a year, and we operate flexibly as a team on a rota basis to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Shift hours are from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, with additional support occasionally required throughout the year for respite care.
*Sometimes the people we support need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a female colleague is required. At Sense Scotland what is important is that all our staff have a genuine passion to make a difference in the life of someone with additional support needs.
