Product Owner (OMS)/ Order Management Systems - Asset / Wealth Management
Permanent | Hybrid (Central London) | Basic salary up to £90,000 (DOE) + bonus + benefits
The Company & Role A product-led investment technology business is hiring a Product Owner to deliver enhancements across a modern Order Management System (OMS) used within the asset and wealth management space. This is a true Product Owner role (not Product Manager). Youll work closely with engineering, stakeholders and an OMS Product Manager, translating roadmap priorities into well-defined, deliverable outcomes.
Responsibilities Own and prioritise the OMS backlog (user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint readiness)
Drive delivery across order management, execution workflows and what-if/simulation capabilities
Partner with engineering, QA and UX through build, release and continuous improvement
Support agile ceremonies, demos, releases and stakeholder communication
Required Experience Experience as a Product Owner (or Senior BA moving into PO) within asset management / wealth management / investment management / fintech
Direct involvement in the build or implementation of an OMS (in-house or vendor)
Strong understanding of financial markets and the order-to-execution lifecycle
Experience owning order/execution management and/or what-if / simulation workflows
Candidates with less OMS experience (2-3 years), or who have come from a Business Analyst background but have a strong foundation/understanding of the finance sector, will be considered
Package Basic salary up to £90,000 (dependent on experience) plus a company bonus scheme, private healthcare, life assurance and a contributory pension. Hybrid working is from a Central London office (1-2 days a week in the office), with occasional travel (approximately once every two months).
