What youll do:
An exciting opportunity to join the team as an Extrusion Operator who will assist in the running of Blown Film Extruders and the recycling line. Extrusion Operators work on a shift rotation covering 12 hour shifts on days and nights.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

:Assist in the running of the Blown Film Extruders and recycling line
:Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure correct working order
:Perform operating testing procedures to ensure the machine works optimally during the production process
:Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift
:Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running speed
:Troubleshoot problems during machine operation
:Ensure that machines are producing quality product by managing periodic quality checks on output
:Ensure stocks of materials are ready and available at all times
:Create and maintain activity logs
:Provide relevant information regarding progress to supervisors/management
:Adhere to Health and Safety rules and department standards, performing regular safety checks
What youll need:

:Knowledge of operating machinery
:Experience of working with blown film and cast film preferable
:Experience of working with hot polymers, blenders, profile extrusion and injection moulding would be an advantage
:Ability to understand standard operating procedures
