Senior Product Manager
Role Overview
Our client is seeking experienced Senior Product Managers to join their expanding digital consultancy practice. As a senior consultant, you will shape product vision, drive strategy, lead delivery, and influence client organisations at both operational and strategic levels. You will work across a variety of domains, guiding multidisciplinary teams and coaching colleagues to deliver high-quality, user-centred products and services.
This role is ideal for product professionals who thrive in complex environments, enjoy balancing competing priorities, and excel at translating ambiguity into clear, outcome-driven plans.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy
• Define, communicate and own a compelling product vision aligned to organisational goals.
• Develop, maintain and socialise product roadmaps, ensuring strategy links directly to delivery.
• Establish success measures, ensuring objectives remain focused, measurable and actionable.
Delivery Leadership
• Lead complex product deliveries, managing multiple workstreams and dependencies.
• Apply Agile principles flexibly, adapting delivery approaches to suit the project context.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation and value creation across teams and products.
• Manage risks, identify impediments and develop practical approaches to resolve them.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Influence senior stakeholders through evidence-led insights.
• Facilitate alignment across diverse teams to establish shared understanding and purpose.
• Advise clients on product practices, shaping ways of working and improving underperforming processes.
User-Centred Practice
• Ensure user research, accessibility and inclusive design principles inform decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with design and research specialists to ensure services meet user needs.
• Apply service lifecycle knowledge, including discovery, alpha, beta and live phases.
Data, Insight & Innovation
• Define KPIs, OKRs and value measures that shape product direction.
• Use data and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and optimise performance.
Leadership & Capability Building
• Lead multidisciplinary teams with clarity, purpose and empathy.
• Coach product practitioners, supporting long-term capability development.
• Facilitate workshops and sessions that promote collaboration, alignment and high-quality delivery.
Candidate Profile
Essential Skills & Experience
Product Management Expertise
• 5+ years’ experience across product ownership and product management.
• Proven record of delivering product strategy and roadmaps in complex settings.
• Strong prioritisation, discovery and end-to-end delivery skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into product requirements that deliver measurable value.
Consultancy & Client Engagement
• Experience working in advisory or consultancy environments.
• Ability to challenge constructively, influence ways of working and shape early-stage problem spaces.
• Confident operating in ambiguity and adapting to new domains or client contexts.
Leadership & Collaboration
• Proven experience leading large multidisciplinary teams.
• Skilled in managing diverse stakeholder groups, resolving challenges and aligning priorities.
• Strong facilitation skills and the ability to support autonomy across teams.
User-Centred Delivery
• Skilled in user-centred design approaches and practices.
• Understanding of accessibility, inclusive design and the constraints of real-world delivery.
• Experience working within complex organisational, regulatory or policy environments.
Organisational & Agile Practice
• Experience in complex organisations with governance and delivery constraints.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban and DevOps.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and navigate competing priorities.
Desirable
• Experience delivering products for UK Government or NHS organisations.
• Familiarity with GDS standards, assessments and service lifecycle phases.

• Salary range: £57,000–£72,000 per annum.
