HGV Technician Required, in Liverpool

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of £18.91, multiplied by a shift premium of 1.153 (totalling approximately £21.80 per hour), plus a Technician Grade Bonus. The position operates on a 4-on-4 off day shift pattern from 6am to 6pm, providing a balanced work schedule. The company also provides generous annual leave of 240 hours including bank holidays, along with numerous staff benefits.

Duties:
10. Carry out maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on all types of Commercial Vehicles including HGVs, Buses, and Coaches.
11. Fault diagnosis and testing to ensure safe and compliant vehicle operation
12. Complete all repair documentation accurately and efficiently
13. Work closely with the workshop team and report to the shift supervisor
14. Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in all work carried out
Requirements:
15. Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Commercial Vehicle (HGV) Technician in a Main Dealer environment.
16. Level 2 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (City & Guilds or NVQ)
17. Current IRTEC accreditation is essential
18. Proven experience working on HGVs, buses, or coaches
19. Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
20. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or within a team
