Location: London + Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Duration: 12-month fixed term contract
What you’ll do
* Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice across a range of projects, helping to draft and negotiate contracts, support bids and tenders, and ensuring the legal approach aligns with Vodafone Business’s growth and transformation goals.
* Build strong relationships with Sales, Commercial, Finance, Product, and Delivery teams to give timely, commercially focused advice and help connect the wider VodafoneThree organisation.
* Identify and assess legal risks using structured frameworks to reduce exposure to financial, regulatory or reputational issues, and proactively help the business stay ahead rather than react.
* Contribute to training and share legal know‑how across the business, while looking for ways to streamline processes through simplification, automation and enabling teams to self‑serve.
* Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, external lawyers and partners, to support VodafoneThree’s commercial objectives.
* Stay up to date with legal and regulatory changes, sharing insights with the wider team and identifying opportunities to improve or adapt.
Who you are
* Qualified lawyer with solid experience in a leading telecoms company.
* In-depth understanding of the tech and telecoms world and the key legal trends shaping it.
* Strong ownership skills, initiative, and the ability to run tasks to completion while knowing when to seek input.
* Practical risk management, balancing protection with business growth, and openness to process improvement and technology.
* Commercially minded, weighing legal risks against business opportunities to support smart, strategic decisions.
* Excellent people skills, building relationships, influencing stakeholders and handling negotiations confidently.
* Clear thinker and communicator, breaking complex issues into key insights and explaining them understandably.
* Committed to continuous development, actively seeking feedback and taking ownership of personal growth.
* Team player with enthusiasm for supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and working together towards shared goals.
