Duties:
* Responding promptly to roadside breakdown assistance requests
* Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults on a wide range of vehicles using diagnostic equipment
* Carrying out repairs, servicing, or parts replacement to get vehicles back on the road swiftly
* Providing exceptional customer service during stressful situations
* Working independently or as part of a team to ensure high quality standards
* Maintaining company vehicle, tools, and uniform to professional standards
Candidate Specification:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a garage or roadside vehicle technician role
* NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
* Proven technical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
* Experience handling a variety of vehicle makes and models
* Valid full UK driving licence
* Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
* Ability to work flexibly within the shift pattern, which is set a year in advance
* No extensive time out of trade (typically 2+ years), demonstrating recent and relevant experience
