We are seeking a Graduate Teaching Associate (GTA) in Physiotherapy to join our growing School of Health and Social Care Professions. The post is full-time and permanent, and offers a unique opportunity for an aspiring academic with a passion for teaching, clinical education and student development.
As a GTA in Physiotherapy, you will support learning, teaching and assessment across pre-registration Physiotherapy programmes. You will work closely with Module Leads and Programme Leads to deliver tutorials, skills sessions, revision workshops and academic support. Responsibilities include:
- Facilitating teaching sessions and practical tutorials
- Supporting students during placement preparation
- Providing academic feedback and marking assessments
- Contributing to OSCE preparation and clinical teaching
- Offering pastoral and academic support where required
- Support the primary care hub
You will also have the opportunity to work toward a fully fee-waived PhD in an area aligned to physiotherapy education, practice or workforce development. Upon completion of the PhD, you will be automatically progressed to Lecturer level within the University.
