Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated & enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist, with a strong team‑work ethic, to join our team in Cambridge. This is an extremely exciting time to be working within iCaSH Cambridgeshire.
Clinic Hours and Schedule
Clinic hours are Monday‑Friday 30 hours per week and may include one late night to 8pm.
Job Responsibilities
* Assess the sexual and reproductive health needs of patients attending iCaSH Services.
* Offer advice and treatments/procedures for patients who require SRH services.
* Act in a responsible, courteous, and sensitive manner, respecting patient dignity and privacy.
* Support training and education for professionals, students, and other agencies.
* Work as a member of the iCaSH service and undertake further training in SRH as required to support service development.
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered NMC Nurse or Midwife with a nationally recognised qualification in Sexual Health and/or Contraception (e.g., DFSRH/BASHH STIF) and a Letter of Competence in Intra‑Uterine Technique, or willingness to undertake this training.
* Recent experience in sexual health (Contraception, GUM or equivalent) with competency in supply of treatments by Patient Group Directions (PGDs) and ability to work autonomously.
