Search are supporting the recruitment of a Finance Officer to join our client's Fife office on a 5 month temporary basis with hybrid working. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll play a key role in supporting financial operations across the organisation. You'll assist with budgeting, reporting, ledger management and provide financial guidance to non-financial managers. You'll also oversee one Finance Assistant and contribute to policy development and team leadership. If you're ready to take on a varied role with real impact, we'd love to hear from you. Pay Rate: Circa £18 per hour Key Responsibilities: * Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial monitoring reports * Produce draft accounts and support financial vetting of reports * Manage and control the financial ledger system, ensuring accurate income and expenditure recording * Provide financial advice to non-financial budget holders * Produce statistical and financial returns as required * Guide and support the Finance Assistant, ensuring compliance with financial policies * Support the development of financial procedures and internal controls Skills and experience you'll ideally have: * Experience working in an accounting environment * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel * Ability to meet deadlines and work independently * Positive attitude and strong communication skills * HNC in Accountancy or equivalent * Experience with accounting systems To apply or find out more, please submit your CV at the earliest opportunity and/or get in touch at (url removed).
