About the Role:
Since the launch of ARU Peterborough in September, the BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science programme has been a flagship course within our portfolio, experiencing steady growth in student numbers. Supported by state-of-the-art teaching and laboratory facilities, the programme offers an excellent student experience. We are now focused on securing professional accreditation and expanding our provision across both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This role will play a key part in leading and advancing these strategic initiatives.
With a doctorate and an established research background in a relevant area of biomedical science, specifically clinical pathology, clinical immunology pharmacology/translational medicine, you will join a small but highly committed team dedicated to delivering high-quality education to our undergraduate biomedical science students.
As a Senior Lecturer, you will provide academic leadership in curriculum development, contribute to accreditation processes, and play a central role in the expansion of the biomedical sciences portfolio. You will also be instrumental in initiating and developing research activity within the team, supporting the growth of a vibrant and research-informed academic culture.
