An established and values-driven not-for-profit organisation is seeking a Director of Finance & IT to join its executive team. Operating across the West Midlands, the organisation provides support to people with disabilities and those experiencing mental health challenges.
With a strong track record of prudent financial management and a commitment to growth and innovation—including a recent investment in a 12-acre site for future development—this is a key leadership role during a time of sector-wide change.
You’ll lead on all finance and IT functions, helping shape strategy, maintain robust financial systems, and support service growth. This is a high-impact role requiring excellent commercial acumen, strong governance experience, and the ability to align financial strategy with mission and values.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
* Supporting business development and contract bids
* Managing IT operations via external providers
* Advising the CEO and Board on financial performance
* Overseeing audits, compliance, and risk
* Motivating and developing the finance team
