Role: Retail Store Assistant
Salary: £12.21 per hour plus benefits.
Reports to: Shop Manager
Department: Trading
Location: Newtownards Shop, Northern Ireland
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part-time, 7.5 hours per week
Closing date: 22nd June 2025, 23:55. Note: The vacancy may close earlier if filled.
Note: The internal title for this role is Shop Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:
* Providing excellent customer and supporter service.
* Achieving sales and fundraising targets as part of the shop team.
* Maintaining shop standards, visual presentation, safeguarding, and health and safety compliance.
* Building relationships within the community and with colleagues.
* Supporting fundraising events.
* Taking keyholder responsibilities (training provided).
* Performing manual handling and physical activities as required.
Candidate Requirements:
* Understanding of great customer service.
* Experience in busy customer service environments.
* Ability to manage workload independently.
* Teamwork skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis.
