Assistant Director – Reward & Recognition (Interim)Location: West Midlands (minimum 2 days per week)

Day Rate: £700–£800 per day
The OpportunityWe are looking for a senior HR leader to take on the role of Assistant Director – Reward & Recognition, leading the pay, reward, and job evaluation process across a major organisation. This is a pivotal position, responsible for delivering a fair,pliant and sustainable Reward & Recognition strategy, aligned to financial and organisational priorities.Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the development and delivery of the organisation-wide Reward & Recognition strategy
2. Oversee job evaluation, equal pay risk and rewardernance frameworks
3. Provide expert leadership on pay policy,pliance and employment legislation
4. Lead onplex workforce cost modelling and reward insight
5. Manage collective bargaining and negotiations with Trade Unions
6. Drive continuous improvement across reward,pliance and policy
7. Deputise for the Director of Industrial & Employee Relations as required
About You
8. Significant senior experience in reward, pay or recognition in a large,plex organisation
9. Deep knowledge of equal pay, job evaluation and employment law
10. Strong track record in leading and managing risk in reward frameworks
11. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
12. CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience)
