Health Visiting Team Leader AA
Join NHS Scotland as a Health Visiting Team Leader AA. A unique opportunity for a registered Health Visitor to develop managerial experience while retaining clinical practice within a supportive leadership team in Fife.
Responsibilities
* Operational management and supervision of a locality-based Health Visiting Team.
* Provide leadership, support, and guidance to staff in delivering services to children and families within the team’s caseload.
* Collaborate closely with the Lead Nurse to meet local and national priorities and drive team development.
* Implement and promote complex Health Visiting practice, ensuring high quality, patient‑centred care.
* Demonstrate proactive, creative, and innovative approaches to team and service improvement.
Qualifications
* Registered Health Visitor with experience delivering complex Health Visiting practice.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Proven leadership skills and a proactive, creative, and innovative mindset.
* Registered on Sub‑part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub‑part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register and on Sub‑part 3 with a Special Health Visiting or Public Health qualification.
Eligibility & Requirements
* Must be a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
* Legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom; if not a UK or Irish National, confirm right to work in the application.
