Street pride Operational Support Officer needed in Derby Paying £14.79 per hr ref 5291129 Full time hours on a temporary basis Main Responsibilities Customer & Stakeholder Support Provide clear, professional advice and support to customers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, colleagues and clients on service‑related matters. Manage and respond to enquiries via the team mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate communication. Create and maintain standard email and letter templates to support consistent customer communication. Cover office telephones and handle general enquiries with a high level of customer service. Operational Administration Gather, input, analyse and report information using our Waste Management System. Allocate worksheets to Waste Minimisation Officers, ensuring tasks are assigned to the appropriate team member. Monitor the Councillors’ Portal (Firmstep), input enquiries into internal systems, allocate to the correct investigating officer, and track responses to completion. Administer formal customer complaints by allocating cases and monitoring them through to resolution, ensuring all actions meet required timescales and standards. Service Efficiency & Improvement Maintain accurate records and service data to support operational planning and performance monitoring. Support ongoing improvements to customer communication, workflow processes, and service delivery.
