We are now seeking a senior-level HSEQ Manager to lead our Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management systems across our manufacturing operations. This is a key leadership role within the business, reporting directly to the Operations Director.
The Role
As HSEQ Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of health, safety, environmental, and quality management within a busy manufacturing environment. You’ll ensure compliance with national regulations and ISO standards, promote a strong safety culture, and drive continuous improvement across all operational areas.
Your role will cover:
* Health & Safety: Develop and maintain H&S policies, conduct risk assessments, lead investigations, and ensure legal compliance (HSE).
* Environmental Management: Lead sustainability initiatives, ensure waste and emissions compliance, and champion environmental awareness.
* Quality Management: Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 QMS, manage NCRs and CAPAs, conduct audits, and ensure product and process quality.
* VCA Compliance: Manage all VCA documentation, audits, and internal training.
* Leadership: Promote a positive HSEQ culture, deliver staff training, and liaise with clients, auditors, and regulators.
About You
You’ll be an experienced HSEQ professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for maintaining high standards in a manufacturing environment.
Essential:
* Proven experience in a Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality management role within manufacturing or industrial settings.
* Strong knowledge of H&S and environmental regulations (HSE, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001).
* Experience managing audits, risk assessments, and quality investigations.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* NEBOSH or equivalent professional qualification.
Desirable:
* Experience working within modular or construction manufacturing.
* Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar accreditation.
* Background in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
