1. Pupil Support: Ensure students' safety, offer personalised assistance, and promote self-esteem and independence. Implement individual education plans and support personal care programmes.
2. Curriculum Support: Assist with learning activities, prepare resources, and use technology effectively to enhance learning experiences. Adapt teaching programmes to meet students' needs and track their progress.
3. School Support: Adhere to school policies, contribute to the school's ethos, and engage in training and development activities. Assist with school trips and extracurricular activities, ensuring equal opportunities for all students.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
4. Experience working with students with special educational needs or relevant strengths.
5. Strong observational skills and the ability to contribute to curriculum planning.
6. ️ Emotional intelligence, maturity, and a calm demeanor.
7. ️ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. First Aid training and awareness of health and safety procedures.
