Main duties of the job
Develop understanding of relevant regulations, including HTMs (Health Technical Memorandums), particularly HTM 01-01 (Decontamination) and HTM 06-03 (Electrical Systems).Assist in the servicing, testing, and repair of medical beds, trolleys, and associated equipment.Learn how to perform basic fault-finding and diagnostics under guidance from experienced engineers.Support the safe and accurate calibration of test equipment used for inspections and servicing.

Person Specification
Education & Qualifications
* GCSE Grade 5 in mathematics and Grade C/4 or equivalent in at least 4 other subjects to include science based subject.
* Attend college as required to complete and pass - Level 3 - Maintenance Operation Engineering Technician Apprentice
* To be computer literate
* An aptitude and interest in the practical and theoretical study of engineering

* Ability to work under supervision
* Adaptable to change
* Have an understanding of Health and Safety issues
Personal Attributes
* Capable of working in a demand driven service
* Full UK driving Licence
