We are looking for driven, entrepreneurial, high achieving and high potential individuals to take our Finance and ERP Transformation Consulting practice to the next level and currently have an opportunity for a Finance Process and Target Operating Model business architect at Director Level, to join the team.

You will work closely with client-side finance leaders to assess current processes, identifyoptimisation opportunities, and design and implement future-state solutions that align with digital, regulatory, and commercial requirements. As part of a cross-functional team, you will be advising on modernising finance operating models, standardising core processes, improving control environments, and embedding enabling technologies such as ERP, RPA, AI, and analytics.

What your days will look like

1. Resolving key design decisions focusing on wider business architecture and integration for our I&AWM clients

2. Developing cost models for large-scale FT implementations and lead project analysis for transitions from current platforms to modernised cloud architected platforms.

3. Developing project strategies to solve complex business challenges for our clients

4. Architect and innovate ahead of the delivery of IT solutions, lead UI strategies, compare technology options to maintain a ‘clean core’,focussed on SAP, Oracle or Workday, but with a knowledge of surrounding technologies e.g. actuarial, data (AWS, Azure, Palantir, etc)

5. Manage and nurture client relationships, ensuring alignment with C-suite and key decision-makers, reporting to Partner Level. Strong focus on business development with targets to manage

6. Managing and delivering large projects by developing/mentoring the project team, assessing Business Architecture options for our clients, managing engagement risks throughout

7. Shaping and delivering projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria

8. Influencing clients’ use of AI solutions (generative AI, agentic AI, etc) as they evolve in the market

9. Training, coaching, and supervising team members - especially in the strategy and operating model sub-solution group

10. You will be part of the leadership team that shapes the strategy and execution of our vision for FT & ERP

This role is for you if:

11. Strong understanding of the Insurance Finance areas (covering finance, actuarial, finance operations, FP&A, consolidation, business performance). Optional - understanding of A&WM finance functions.

12. Deep understanding of core end-to-end finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A).

13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with process mapping and diagnostic capability (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma).

14. Solid grasp of financial reporting and controls, including familiarity with accounting principles (IFRS 17 / UK GAAP).

15. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, from finance ops to CFO level.

16. Strong sales and project delivery experience, ideally in a consulting or transformation environment.

17. Strong understanding of how evolving tech (e.g. agentic) will reshape the Finance function and ability to shape propositions to clients as they evolve.

Desirable Skills:

18. Additional skill areas if available would include (a) experience working in or advising finance functions in large organisations and/or (b) knowledge of finance technologies (e.g. Oracle Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, Workday Financials, Anaplan, BlackLine, Alteryx etc).

19. Experience with data and process mining tools (e.g.Celonis).

20. Exposure to change management frameworks (e.g. PROSCI).

21. Knowledge of shared services, global business services (GBS), or outsourcing models.
