Working in a vegetable preparation unit. Preparing vegetables ready to be diced, sliced etc by machine; working machinery, weighing and bagging products. Cleaning work areas and machinery in between production lines and at the end of the shift.
The shift ends when the work is complete and cleaning down is complete without exception.
During busy periods you will be expected to work long hours. Overtime paid at standard rate.
Working in a small team, you must be enthusiastic, co-operative, hard working and be able to follow instructions and work on your own initiative. There is heavy lifting involved eg 25kg sacks of potatoes.
Must work to a high standard and be reliable. Food Safety & Hygiene are of utmost importance.
In-house training on all company polices and procedures to be untaken.
Working in the food industry an advantage but not essential.
Work Pattern: 5 Days: Sunday to Friday (with Saturday off and one other day in the week TBC).
