Over the past year, we have continued to develop our services to meet the University’s evolving needs.About the roleAs a Porter you’ll have a key role in helping students transition from living at home to fully independent living and ensuring all our accommodation users have the best possible experience when staying with us.Responsibilities include:Removing waste and recycling from accommodation areasRestocking essential customer supplies in accommodation areasCollecting and sorting linen and beddingReporting maintenance issuesEnsuring health and safety guidance is followedActing as the face of the department, engaging with students and visitorsThis is a permanent, full‑time role, working 36.5 hours per week from 9:00am to 5:20pm. The position follows a 5‑over‑7 working pattern, with an expectation to work weekends on a rotational basis.
