We are looking for a dedicated Care Assistant to join our friendly team working during the day at Norton House Care Home. This is a fulfilling role where you will support our residents to live with dignity, comfort, and joy during the day. The position is for 33 hours, however we would be willing to consider job shares if there are sufficient applicants interested in part time work.
What you'll do:
* Provide high-quality personal care and emotional support
* Support residents with washing, dressing, meals, and daily routines
* Engage individuals in meaningful activities and conversation
* Work as part of a team to create a warm and welcoming environment within our beautiful home
* Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with colleagues
What we're looking for:
* Genuine passion for working with older people
* A caring, patient, and respectful approach
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Previous experience in a caring role is essential

Hours: 33 hours per week, usually across 3 days (including alternate weekends)
