As a Structured Products EME Advisory Lawyer, you will provide legal advice and support to the business units in the Markets division on matters arising from the relevant products/services provided by the Structured Notes Team. You will have regular exposure to securities regulators, external law firms, business managers, and colleagues in other teams (Treasury, Wealth, etc.).
To be successful, you should have experience with:
* SME / Extensive experience with Structured Finance Products, focusing on the Markets Division
* Qualified lawyer with top-tier private practice experience, preferably with in-house experience at a top-tier financial institution
* French or German language skills are an advantage but not required

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment
* Strong commercial attitude and passion for performance and improvement
* Ability to communicate technical analysis clearly to legal and non-legal audiences, both orally and in writing
This role is based in London.

* Support legal proceedings related to the Markets business units
* Create and review legal documents, maintain templates
* Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes
* Develop and deliver legal training for employees
* Identify and communicate legal risks, ensuring proper reflection in policies and controls
