£34,000 – £38,000 + Van + Overtime (OTE £40k – £45k)
The Company
NEOS Engineering Recruitment are working with a national business within the plant hire sector, known for its reliable equipment, strong customer base and commitment to engineering excellence.
Due to increased demand, they are now looking for a Mobile Plant Technician to cover the Exeter area.
The Role
This role will involve travelling to customer sites to carry out service, maintenance and repair work on a wide range of plant hire machinery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Diagnosing and repairing faults on plant equipment
* Servicing machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, tower lights and trailers
* Carrying out preventative maintenance and inspections
* Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime
* Completing job reports and maintaining accurate records
* Providing excellent customer service on-site
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience as a Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter or similar
* Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
* Experience working on construction or plant hire equipment
* A full UK driving licence
* A motivated and professional approach

* £34,000 – £38,000 basic salary
