ABS Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in the Preston area.
This is an temp to perm position. Can either be full time or Term Time ( 39 weeks a year )

As a Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods in a safe and timely manner.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable and experienced driver who enjoys working independently and has a strong customer service orientation
.
Responsibilities
* Safely load and unload goods from the vehicle. Plan and follow the most efficient routes to meet delivery schedules
* Deliver goods to designated locations, ensuring accuracy and exceptional customer service
* Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
* Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
* Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or maintenance needs
Requirements
* Valid Class 2 driving license
* Excellent knowledge of road traffic laws and regulations
* Strong time management and organizational skills
* Ability to handle and prioritise multiple deliveries
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Must have no more than 9 points on licence
