JOB VACANCY – Veterinary Receptionist – approx. 20hrs a week
We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time receptionist to join our brilliant team at Vets4Pets l.
Our receptionists are most often the first contact between our clients and the practice, so they are an integral part in creating a first and lasting impression. We are looking for someone who is a great communicator, with a friendly, ‘can do’ attitude, and strong customer service skills.
You will need the resilience and patience to work in a busy, often emotional environment and having a calm, positive outlook, with a good sense of humour is a must. Essentially, you will have a Veterinary background or at least medical front of house experience.
Some of our receptionist duties include:
1. Greeting clients, being friendly and exceeding client expectations
2. Taking calls, responding efficiently to emails and WhatsApp messages
3. Liaising with the clinical team to find the best outcomes for pets and their owners
4. Processing payments, insurance enquiries and care plan paperwork
5. Dispensing medications
The required shifts will be Tuesday 9am-2pm, Wednesday 9am-7pm and Thursday 2pm-7pm. Saturdays are 1 in 4. We are looking for someone who can be flexible to help cover sickness and holidays when needed, potential to increase hours in the future for the right candidate.
