Headley Professional Recruitment is currently recruiting a Health & Safety Manager for our client in Halifax. The client is a construction main contractor who work on fit out and refurbishment projects. Projects can be across a number of sectors including commercial, education, health, residential and leisure. The Role: The role will co-ordinate, support and advise the business on all aspects with regards Health, Safety and Environment. To establish, manage, enforce and monitor standards, processes, communications, training and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health, Safety and Environment are adhered to. To ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental legislative requirements and industry standards are properly implemented throughout the business. To ensure that all accidents, incidents and near misses are recorded and investigated accordingly. The role is responsible for developing Health, Safety and Environmental standards, and ensuring that they are embedded within the business. The role will be responsible for setting the strategic framework for management of these standards and for defining and delivering against objectives that enable both the achievement and continuous improvements of these standards.
