Your RoleMY client in the Inverclyde areais looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our machine shop.If youre time-served, can set and run your own jobs, and take pride in producing quality components to tight tolerances, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesSetting and running CNC lathesProgramming at the machine when requiredWorking from engineering drawings and tight tolerancesMaking offsets and programme changes as neededKeeping jobs running efficiently and safelyCompleting job paperwork and recording labour hoursWorking with the Team Leader and Supervisor to hit delivery datesKeeping your area clean, organised, and safeHelping train and support others when neededAbout youSkill & ExperienceTime-served CNC Machinist (or equivalent experience)Confident reading engineering drawingsAble to work accurately with minimal supervisionFanuc experience preferred but not essentialCNC Vertical Borer experience an advantageReliable, safety-focused, and willing to muck in as part of a teamMust have a good understanding of engineering drawings and ability to work to tight tolerances;Hours - Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-1pm (dayshift) and Mon-Thurs 9:45pm-8am for nightshift with a 33% shift increase. High Overtime Potential (Avge circa 17hrs OT per week, midweek & weekend)Salary - £36,655.24Experience: Plastic experience (Ideal) not essential, Doosan Lathes, Fanuc Control SystemTPBN1_UKTJ
