We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join us as a Designated Safeguarding Lead.
The Successful Candidate Will
* Support students with individual needs, helping them achieve, believe in themselves, and prepare for adulthood.
* Provide professional learning and development for all pupils through establishing personalised learning routes.
* Have a deep understanding of the school’s strategies for improvement.
* Offer exemplary pastoral care across the school.
* Ensure safeguarding measures are robust and efficient across both sites.
* Identify safeguarding trends and report these to the Senior Leadership Team.
* Develop strong relationships with professional services and community groups.
* Maintain accurate records of behaviour incidents.
* Support behaviour and safeguarding initiatives across the school as directed.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
* A committed and passionate approach to supporting students with SEND.
* Minimum of two years’ experience working in a SEND environment or similar setting.
* Experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, with a belief that all children and young people deserve outstanding education regardless of their past experiences.
* Experience in a safeguarding role within education.
