The Role As a Sales Specialist at Renault Colchester you will play a key role in driving sales of new and used Renault, Dacia and Alpine vehicles while delivering a first-class customer experience. You will represent both franchised and non-franchised vehicles, showcasing their features and benefits, and offering tailored solutions to meet customer needs. Renault’s growing popularity, innovative new models, and the recent closure of other Renault dealerships in the area have resulted in a huge forward order bank at John Banks. This presents an incredible opportunity for high-performing candidates to benefit from a thriving market and a strong pipeline of customer demand. With these developments and the high sales volume achievable, this position offers an On-Target Earnings (OTE) potential well in excess of £50,000 per annum with a basic of £24,000. For the right candidate, additional high-performance incentives are also available. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic sales environment and is passionate about helping customers find the right vehicle. Key Responsibilities ​ Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers, understanding their unique needs. Maintain excellent written and verbal communication throughout the customer journey ​ Vehicle Presentation: Present vehicle features and benefits in person and through virtual platforms (e.g., video demonstrations). Sales Process: Manage enquiries across multiple channels (text, chat, email). Negotiate and close sales deals while achieving individual and team sales targets Customer Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong customer relationships, ensuring positive reviews and repeat business. Provide aftersales support to enhance the overall customer experience. Industry Expertise: Stay updated on automotive trends, financing options, and dealership promotions. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will have: A proven track record of sales success. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. A customer-focused mindset with the ability to build long-lasting relationships. Confidence in both face-to-face and virtual sales environments. A strong work ethic and a passion for the automotive industry.
