We are looking for a Head Chef specialised in authentic Lebanese cuisine to lead the kitchen of a concept that celebrates the vibrant flavours of the Levant. This is your chance to design, develop, and deliver an elevated Lebanese dining experience within a high-profile international hotel setting. You will be responsible for the kitchen’s full operation — from team leadership and menu development to food quality and hygiene standards.
Job Role
* Lead the entire Lebanese kitchen operation, including daily preparation, live service, and kitchen administration
* Develop and maintain authentic menus that reflect the richness of Lebanese culinary heritage with a modern twist
* Standardise recipes and ensure consistency in preparation, taste, and presentation across all dishes
* Train and manage a team of chefs and kitchen assistants, promoting a culture of learning and discipline
* Implement cost control strategies, monitor food waste, and optimise kitchen efficiency
* Ensure strict adherence to HACCP and food safety standards across all operations
* Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B management on concept evolution, event menus, and product sourcing
* Oversee procurement of specialty ingredients and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
* Monitor stock levels, maintain kitchen equipment, and ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen at all times
* Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction through quality control and timely service
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef specialising in Lebanese or Middle Eastern cuisine
* Proven expertise in traditional Lebanese dishes including hot and cold mezze, grilled meats, pastries, and desserts
* Culinary degree or formal kitchen training is preferred
* Experience working in luxury hotels, fine dining, or high-volume restaurants
* Strong leadership and team development skills
* Knowledge of ingredient sourcing, kitchen costing, and menu engineering
* Passion for detail, presentation, and maintaining authenticity with modern appeal
* Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
