We’re working with a well-established manufacturing company looking for a Factory Operative to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This is a hands-on, physical role in a fast-paced production environment. You'll be working with cast metal parts, using various tools and machinery to prepare products for the next stage of production. Duties will include: Fettling and grinding of metal castings using power tools Manual handling – moving boxes and materials Shot blasting (machine operation) Etching parts using specialist hand tools Operating a band saw when required Cleaning and maintaining equipment and workspaces Recording production data on a touchscreen system Completing paperwork to track tasks completed You will have: Experience working within a manufacturing environment A good level of physical fitness Experience using hand tools Access to your own transport due to location A solid CV demonstrating reliability If you’re looking for a physical, hands-on role with a stable and growing business, we’d love to hear from you.
