Electrical Technician

About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a talented Electrical Technician to play a key role in keeping modern rail systems running safely and efficiently. If you thrive on solving problems, working with cutting-edge diagnostic tools and software, and being part of a team that makes a real impact every day, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out electrical fault-finding across complex rail systems
* Replacing and installing electrical components
* Using advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues
* Completing mechanical repairs and rectification where needed
* Uploading and updating onboard rail software systems
* Working alongside a supportive, experienced, and close-knit engineering team
Requirements
* Electrical background with a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience with IT systems, able to upload/download software updates.
* Knowledge of fault finding and testing equipment; both mechanical and electrical.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
