As a Stores Operative, you will play a crucial role in our construction company specialising in park and luxury lodges. Your main responsibility will be to manage the inventory and stock control for our warehouse and build bays. Key Responsibilities: Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and completeness of deliveries. Organize and maintain the warehouse, ensuring efficient and logical storage of materials. Issue materials and supplies to the construction team according to project requirements. Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies to avoid shortages. Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records using our inventory management system. Coordinate with purchasing team to ensure timely procurement of materials. Inspect and maintain the quality of materials and equipment to meet safety and compliance standards. Collaborate with the construction team to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects. Follow health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a construction or warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to effectively organize and manage inventory. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic knowledge of inventory management systems. Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
