Electrical Maintenance Engineer 4 on 4 off covering both days and nights, 6:30am to 6:30pm

Mission
Your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment. You will work on various different types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of planned and reactive engineering activities on site.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Apprentice trained in a similar position ideally
* Electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3, 18th Edition or equivalent)
* Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements
* Practical hands‑on approach
* Experience in electrical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities
* Ability to interrogate and understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information and recommendations
* Excellent communication skills, dealing with operatives and team leaders from both maintenance and production
* PLC and VSD knowledge is advantageous
* Experience in mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics will be an advantage
