Salary: £21,279 to £23,908 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full time (Monday to Friday)
Esland is committed to improving children’s lives by providing top-tier specialist services. Our schools support vulnerable young people aged 8-18 years with SEMH.
Our Teaching Assistants (TAs) work alongside class teachers to help students reach their potential and develop independence. They may work with individual students or small groups, supporting a broad, balanced, engaging, and functional curriculum. Many students have experienced trauma, which can sometimes lead to challenging behaviors.
The position is based at our SEN School in Silsoe, Bedfordshire.

Candidate Requirements:
* Knowledge of first aid
* Ability to relate well to children and adults
* Teamwork skills and understanding of classroom roles
* Some knowledge of the National Curriculum
* Proficiency in ICT to support learning
* Understanding of relevant policies, codes of practice, and legislation
* Basic understanding of child development and learning
* Self-evaluation and active learning pursuit
* Experience working with or caring for children
