Your Role
Capgemini Financial Services is seeking a talented and experienced AWS Architect in Knutsford for a full-time hybrid role.
* Design and implement largescale distributed systems with a focus on resiliency scalability and observability
* Define cloudnative strategies and architectures for enterprise applications
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
* Create technical design specifications reference architectures and reusable patterns
* Drive adoption of DevOps practices CICD pipelines and automation across teams
* Lead and mentor teams in Agile delivery models and ensure alignment with enterprise standardslifecycle
Your Profile
Core Responsibilities
* Cloud Platforms AWS IaaS PaaS Serverless Containers EKS Docker Kubernetes
Databases Strong expertise in PostgreSQL plus experience with NoSQL DynamoDB DocumentDB
* Infrastructure as Code Handson experience with Terraform GitLab CICD
Microservices Containers Deep knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and containerized solutions
* DevOps Tools Jenkins GitLab and integration with various CICD tools
* Application Design APIfirst and eventdriven architectures and prior handson experience with Kafka ecosystem
* Observability monitoring Familiarity with tools for logging metrics and tracing specially ELK and observe tools
Soft Skills MustHave:
* Excellent written and verbal communication for simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
* Ability to articulate technical solutions to business leaders and influence decisionmaking
* Proven experience working with global distributed teams in enterprise environments
Additional Requirements
* Knowledge of data modelling best practices and Agile methodologies
* Experience with Atlassian tools JIRA Confluence for project tracking and documentation
* Ability to own and drive projects endtoend in an Agile environment
Good to Have
* Familiarity with ecosystem and platforms for faster onboarding
* Understanding of financial services domain especially credit cards
* Knowledge of TOGAF principles and enterprise architecture frameworks
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate preferred
