Our client based in Aberdeen are currently seeking a Plant and Equipment Mmechanic to carry out repairs and maintenance work on various vehicles and plant equipment from their facility based in Aberdeen City. You will be responsible for inspection, maintaining and repairs on vehicles, plant and equipment within the clients fleet, workshops and depots. This postion, which is an on-going contract, is paying a PAYE rate of £17.47ph. You should have a City and Guilds, or the equivalent SVQ in Construction - Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering, along with a full UK Driving Licence Standard hours of work will be 35 hrs per week, Monday to Friday and will rotate every week as follows - Basic pay is £17.47ph and will be paid weekly by Blueprint. This is a PAYE contract paying a base rate of £17.47ph, where you're piad holidays alongside your wages at 28 days p.a. pro-rata and contributions are made towards your pension as per current legislation. Standard duties include - - Completing inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance of vehicles, plant, and equipment to required standards. - Carry out duties in compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures. - Operate equipment to the required standard and report any defects to their supervisor. - Complete Digital ducuments / paperwork as required - Work outside in often adverse weather. - Occasionally work out with contractual/normal working hours at an enhanced rate.
