Senior Draughtsperson – Wood

Job Description
Wood is looking for a Senior Draughtsperson to provide expertise in documentation updates using various CAD and raster editing packages. The role involves creating mark‑ups, checking and approving documentation while adhering to all relevant standards, processes and procedures. Maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail will enable the Drawing Office to continue delivering quality service.

Responsibilities
* Create and update documentation in line with client engineering requirements or as‑built expectations.
* Utilize 2D & 3D software packages to update and create documentation, models, digital twins, clash detection analysis and intelligent documentation.
* Provide QA checking and approval of documentation produced by ODC colleagues.
* Review customer modification work packs and provide digital red‑lined mark‑ups for ODC colleagues.
* Provide technical guidance and support to ODC colleagues as required.
* Lead and assist in site surveys using digital technology such as laser scanning.
* Manage discrete scopes of work and own workload to ensure timely delivery to clients.
* Attend client meetings as required and report to support the Technical Lead.
* Assist in creating cost, time & resource (CTR) estimates.
* Adhere to company policies & procedures and promote Woods core values.
Qualifications
* HNC or appropriate level of experience.
* Suitable CAD qualification or appropriate experience.
* Previous experience with as‑built documentation and project documentation.
* working on COMAH sites, particularly in oil and gas production and storage.
* Must hold a valid CCNSG safety passport.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Drive for continual learning and understanding of latest design tools and processes.
* Experience within a Drawing Office environment and good general computer skills.
* Ability to work with multiple stakeholders professionally.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrate an understanding of industry best practices and work to established standards.
