Management accountant

We are exclusively partnered with a Manchester based Regeneration company in their search for a Management Accountant to join them on a 9-month fixed term contract basis.

This role would suit someone who is analytical and focused, and you would be owning the month-end process for 3 - 4 of their entities, joining a business that's expanding with a great culture.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with the month end close process, ensuring timely delivery of management reporting.
2. Preparing multiple entity monthly management accounts with commentary.
3. Completion and submission of VAT returns.
4. Monthly cash flow forecasting.
5. Business partnering with Development Managers, providing financial support on appraisals, work in progress reporting, forecasting and budget cost control.
6. Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
7. Supporting the year end process, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and preparing supporting schedules for audit, for multiple entities.
8. Identification and recommendation of any operational efficiencies and supporting systems improvements.
9. Working on ad hoc projects.
