Job overview
The post-holder will be an experienced certificated technician undertaking managerial, technical, and operational duties within the Pharmacy Department. Responsibilities include:
1. Managing pharmacy medicine procurement for the Trust
2. Managing the pharmacy CMM stock control system for Hillingdon
3. Providing financial data to support Medicines Management initiatives
4. Ensuring the pharmacy store operates within MHRA standards
Some duties will be discharged directly, others via line-managed staff.

Person specification
* Registration with GPhC as a pharmacy technician
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical procedures, ideally with a degree or equivalent, NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services, or equivalent
* CIPS diploma or willingness to study
* Post-qualification NHS pharmacy experience, especially in procurement and stock control systems
* Experience with audits
* Staff recruitment and selection skills
* Structured training in procurement and IT, and management/interpersonal skills courses
