The Financial Controller will support the Finance Director and manage a small team. Working for a services company based in Elgin.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Managing rolling cashflow model, flagging issues to FD for early response.
* Preparing monthly finance report and management accounts for Board reporting.
* Preparing, reviewing and challenging detailed depot/filling station/divisional P&Ls.
* Overseeing monthly/quarterly external reporting to bank, HMRC etc.
* Staff management.
* Primary focus for annual audit process.
* Driving a culture of business partnering.
* Representing finance on the Elgin Leadership Committee, chaired by MD.
* Developing and upskilling the existing team, ensuring appraisals completed in a timely manner.

* Experience in a family owned and/or multi-site business.
* Good all round finance experience.
* Experience of cultural transformation would be a nice to have.
