Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in using various tools and equipment to produce precision components. This role requires excellent communication skills with an eye for detail.
Duties
* Proven experience of manual milling and turning, abrasive wheels, tool making to produce high-quality parts.
* Production of key components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
* Utilise power tools and hand tools for various machining tasks.
* Stocking of all appropriate materials
* Undertake maintenance and repairs to industry related products from outside the business including F1, JCB, John Deere.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Proficient in basic maths for measurements and calculations.
* Familiarity with assembling components and operating power tools and hand tools.
* Previous experience in a machining or manufacturing environment is essential.
* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all tasks.
* Own transport is essential as we are based in a remote location.
