Candidates should be aware that their first day of employment may be based at an alternative Redkite office within our Pembrokeshire to Gloucestershire network, for group onboarding. A willingness to travel and spend the day away from your usual place of work is therefore required.
What will you be doing?
This position will form part of the wider W&P England team(s) comprising of several offices spread over Gloucestershire. The candidate will have the opportunity to work autonomously and contribute to Redkite’s strategic growth plans in the area. The role operates from our Ledbury office, alongside our Gloucestershire team of solicitors, and supported by Legal Advisors and support staff.
This team sits within Redkite’s wider Private client team
* Manage a diverse caseload of Wills and Probate matters from inception to resolution.
* Draft, review, and manage legal documents pertaining to wills, probate, trusts, and powers of attorney.
* Advise clients on estate planning, and asset protection.
* Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring high standards of client care.
* Provide a quality service to the Firm’s clients to meet the needs of the Wills & Probate department and help it achieve its financial and other targets
* Demonstrate leadership ability including initiating and leading business development and the marketing of the team
* Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the growth and success of the team.
Requirements
Who we’re looking for
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wills & Probate Solicitor looking to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling W&P matters including Will and Trust drafting, estate planning and administration as well as an ability to provide excellent service to clients.
We welcome interest from candidates either already operating at a partner level or those looking for a pathway to partnership.
