About the Role
This role is designed to provide a comprehensive exposure to mechanical engineering principles by actively participating in current projects alongside our experienced engineers. As a Mechanical Engineering Student Placement, you will engage in a variety of tasks that support the design, analysis, testing, and manufacturing processes integral to our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the preparation of technical drawings and specifications using CAD software.
* Support the testing and evaluation of mechanical components and systems to ensure compliance with performance standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to facilitate successful project completion.
* Contribute to problem-solving discussions and propose engineering solutions under supervision.
* Document test results and assist in preparing technical reports and presentations.
* Participate in safety reviews to help maintain a safe working environment.
What We’re Looking For
* Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering degree program or a related field.
* Basic understanding of engineering concepts, materials, and manufacturing processes.
* Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent is advantageous.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
